ETA MISSION
Safe, Reliable Transportation
The El Paso Transportation Authority’s (ETA) mission is to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation solutions that connect the rural communities of El Paso County. Through our fixed-route and ADA Paratransit services, we are committed to enhancing mobility, fostering regional cooperation, and improving the quality of life for all residents.
ETA HISTORY
ETA provides fixed route (ETA paseo) and ADA Paratransit (ETA access) service in rural El Paso County. ETA is administered by the El Paso Area Transportation Services, Local Government Corporation (EPATS, LGC). EPATS, LGC, was created to encourage and assist local municipalities to cooperate in providing regional public transportation solutions in El Paso County. ETA’s services were created to improve on services previously provided by El Paso County Transit.

HOW TO RIDE
ETA paseo operates as a “flag stop” system, where a rider can signal the bus to stop at any safe location along the route, whether or not a bus stop sign is posted.
To “flag” a bus, stand at a safe location along the road where the driver can see you. Wave to the approaching bus so the driver knows you wish to board. If it is safe to do so, the driver will stop to let you on. To get off the bus at a flag stop, advise the driver in advance so he or she can determine a safe location to stop.
